There are a variety of places to find the three woods (Birch, Poplar, and Basswood) as well as the equipment that Emily mentions in her video. I've included several places below for ease of purchase.

Of note - This post contains affiliate links, which means I will make a commission at no extra cost to you, should you click through and make a purchase. Please note that I do not recommend products or websites unless I use them or would use them myself. I have spend countless hours on Etsy and love seeing all the small creative businesses on there. :) Also, as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Wood Slices/planks - Basswood, Birch, and Poplar - Etsy, Amazon, Joann Fabrics, and Walmart are just a few of the places you can find these woods. Any craft store and often places in malls and even supermarkets may have these type of woods.

Walmart has a large selection of wood slices for crafting but you'll have to look at each listing to tell if it is Basswood, Birch, Poplar, or something else.

Basswood:

Basswood blanks from Etsy include planks, rectangle cubes, spoons, boards, spatulas, round planks and more. There are even rough woodcarvings you can use for some of your woodburning projects :)

Amazon also has a good selection of Basswood blanks to include round planks, boards, and planks.

Birch:

Birch blanks from Etsy include planks, boards, round planks, sheets, and more.

Amazon also has a selection of Birchwood round planks, natural wood planks, and more.

Poplar:

Poplar blanks from Etsy include planks, round planks, wood slices, wood plugs, and much more.

Amazon has some Poplar blanks available to include round and planks as well as more.

Woodburning Tools - Etsy, Amazon, Walmart, and Joann Fabrics are just a couple of places you can find these woodburning equipment. Craft stores and speciality shops may also have them.

Etsy has a huge amount of woodburning tools, woodburning crafts kits, and so much more. You can even have your logo created on a woodburning tool for your use. :)

Amazon also has over 400 listings for woodburning tools and kits.

Walmart also has a huge amount of woodburning tools.

Joann Fabrics carries Walnut Hollow woodburning tools.
